Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Examples and what not. )
And I have a journal example under this post. =]

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
So I finally got everything up and running in the apartment. It took me a while to figure out the internet sigh. The ride up was quite the trip I must say. Even with the GPS I bought I still ended up getting lost quite a few times. Some things will never change. It's a good thing that I'm not too far from work, I seem to get to places without getting lost if I'm walking there.

Speaking of work and money type things. I started yesterday at Starbucks, and come Friday I'll start over at Circuit. being the DJ will be fun. At least this way I don't have to deal with the creepy old guys ogling me in my underwear. Financially I should be set. It's kind of weird not having my family to fall back on. I guess that's what happens when you "grow up". All and all I have to say that getting away from them was probably a good idea for me. Even though I was a good four hours away from home it was still way too close. Don't get me wrong I love my family, well at least most of the time, but I couldn't stand being so close any longer. Plus the Institute of Art out here has a great performing arts program, and it's a lot cheaper then NYU was. Yay for being in debt until I'm about 60 instead of 80!

I'm not sure if I actually miss Manhattan itself or just my friends there. It kind of sucks being out here all by my lonesome but I'll deal. What's a few weeks at the most of being a hermit if it means being able to start a newish life huh? It wont be so bad with my resident beast at my side. Though I swear he's pissed that he doesn't have his own room any more. Of course I just have to end up with a giant bratty pup that thinks he's a human.

Anyway that's enough of my ramblings. I should probably go take Dean out for a walk and then pass out. Yay for the opening shift! <- Please take note of the sarcasm. God I'm so not a morning person. Well night!
